Phyllis continues to amaze me with her incredible energy as a Massage Therapist and Reiki Healer. She brings positivity and healing vibes to every session and leaves me feeling extremely calm and relaxed! I can literally feel every stress and worry melt away. I’m a regular with her for a reason - I have even gotten my family to go to her for their massages and they only had glowing reviews of her. She has amazing energy and is comforting and professional all at the same time. Her goal is to make sure she hits areas where you’re the most in pain but she also ensures to balance out the relaxation throughout the body so when your session is done and you get up, you feel relaxed, rejuvenated and like you’re ready to take on anything! I'm a new mom with some achy feet. Even though I live a few blocks away, I just asked for the first available person that could give me an hour long foot massage. I was tended to immediately. Leaving a review about Phyllis is a serious catch 22. I want her to have as much business as possible, but I also want to be able to schedule her at the drop of a hat. I get a few massages a year at different spas around DC, fancy ones and less fancy ones. I lived in NY for a decade with the same experience. Phyllis was the first masseuse that asked me what I wanted, then did exactly that. I asked what was easiest for her if I lay on my stomach or back and she said, "it's really not about me, whatever is most comfortable for you." Even though I was paying for reflexology, she heard what I needed and mixed massage in. She put a hot compress on my spine and then one on my shoulders. It was magical. I don't usually leave reviews, but it was too wonderful of an experience not to.

New client and I booked a massage on Monday with Phyllis and it was exactly what my stressed out and tense self -needed.
Phyllis asked what I was having problems with and I listed my aches, tension, and muscle issues. She created a relaxing room with dim lights, soft music, and a warm table. Her touch was perfect and she found the harder spots, like my angry IT band and the tension between my shoulder blades and in my neck. Afterwards, we chatted briefly and Phyllis was spot on. She said I have mind tension and have problems turning off and take care of a lot of people and have to learn to say no. Painfully accurate! What a gem in the neighborhood!
